On November 8th, 2020, the world lost a wonderful person: the long-time host of Jeopardy, Alex Trebek. Trebek announced he had been diagnosed with stage-four pancreatic cancer in March 2019. The Jeopardy! Twitter account posted that he had “passed away peacefully at home” surrounded by family and friends. Alex Trebek had hosted Jeopardy! since 1984, and had received numerous awards and honours for his work.
On November 9th, the day after Trebek’s death, I paid tribute to him with a bit of Jeopardy for the SNES and a raised glass to toast his life. Rest in peace, Alex. You will be sorely missed.
